This page may open your eyes to some facts about religion in our schools. Here are just a few for openers:
As interpreted by the courts, the Constitution's First Amendment requires that public school teachers, principals, and boards be religiously neutral:
Do any of these facts surprise you? Some surprised me. And here I am with a five-year degree in Theology and a Master’s in Education. Plus thirty-seven years of experience in public education.
Now, are you ready for this? How about President Clinton supporting religion in public schools? And his Secretary of Education, too? Where was I when all this was going on? And where were ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MS-NBC, and Fox News? I did hear about this first on C-SPAN, April 16, 2001, in an interview with Dr. Charles Haynes of the Freedom Forum.
Now, the introduction by Bill Clinton!
"...Schools do more than train children's minds. They also help to nurture their souls by reinforcing the values they learn at home and in their communities. I believe that one of the best ways we can help our schools to do this is by supporting students' rights to voluntarily practice their religious beliefs, including prayer in schools.... For more than 200 years, the First Amendment has protected our religious freedom and allowed many faiths to flourish in our homes, in our work place and in our schools. Clearly understood and sensibly applied, it works."

Hey, Christians! Have we been sleeping at the switch! Time to get the word out to our kids, their teachers, their parents, parent-teacher organizations, school board members, and especially solicitors!
And, it’s time to stop being a door mat for every liberal that wants to keep God out of our schools!
Now, with George W. in the White House, it's highly unlikely that liberals will be able to roll back the clock on the official posture of the US Department of Education in regard to religion in public schools.
Let's look closely at what Dr. Riley had to say about religion in public schools in the last administration. And be sure to click the link that gives you the full text!
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
THE SECRETARY
Dear American Educator, [Click to get full text.]
Almost three years ago, President Clinton directed me, as U.S. Secretary of Education, in consultation with [Janet Reno] the Attorney General, to provide every public school district in America with a statement of principles addressing the extent to which religious expression and activity are permitted in our public schools. In accordance with the President's directive, I sent every school superintendent in the country guidelines on Religious Expression in Public Schools in August of 1995.

U.S. Secretary of Education
Many of us [myself included have rarely passed up an opportunity to denounce President Clinton and complain about the bad influence his life was having on our kids. And, all of that was true; things were pretty bad! But come on, now. Let’s do at least as much to get the word out on the information at the following link:
RELIGIOUS
EXPRESSION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Make sure all kids, parents, teachers, school administrators, and school board members with whom you come in contact know about the content of RELIGIOUS EXPRESSION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS!!!
