Voting is far more complex than it used to be. In addition to the choices of Republican or Democrat, there are the choices of conservative or liberal, both political and theological.

All thinking conservatives have known for years that the mainstream media slant the news in favor of the liberal agenda. Now, this fact has been proven in print by Bernard Goldberg in his No.1 New York Times bestseller, Bias. The good news is that this page features many stories the liberal media won't touch. The Truth about the Mormon Church

On December 6, 2007, the world heard Gov. Mitt Romney give his politicized version of the Mormon Church. However, he cleverly omitted some critical points of doctrine wherein lie vast differences between what Mormons believe and what Bible-believing Christians believe. If Romney wrote his speech, as he is reported to have done, he is guilty of major errors of omission.

Are these omissions presidential?

My Choice for President Is Mike Huckabee

Like most of you, over the summer and into the fall, I've been watching, listening, studying and praying about who could lead this country as our next president. I won't leave you in suspense. Though Giuliani might be savvy enough to lead people, Fred Thompson wise enough to wade through the tides of politics, McCain tough enough to fight terrorism and Romney business-minded enough to grow our economy, I believe the only one who has all of the characteristics to lead America forward into the future is ex-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee. Newt Gingrich called Mike "very effective … if Huckabee can find money, he will be dramatically competitive almost overnight." Bill Clinton called Huckabee the "only dark horse that's got any kind of chance … He's the best speaker they've got."

There is even a pro-Huckabee swell rising among the younger generation. Who he is (before what he can do) More than anything he has done or can do, however, it is first who Mike is that impresses me most. Part of our backward culture is reflected in the fact that we measure and value people by what they do, instead of first who they are. As a result, we nominate charisma, cast votes for articulation and repeatedly elect too many paper-thin corrupt politicians. Of course, I want a president who gets things done, but I first want one who has lived a life of integrity, commitment, truthfulness and respect. Mike is that man.

Mike hasn't lived an isolated, out-of-touch life like so many politicians. He was raised in Hope, Ark., with a dad who was a firefighter and always had a second job. Mike and his sister grew up poor, not privileged. He was the first person in his family to graduate from high school. And he worked two jobs in college and graduated in two-and-a-half years. He is an outdoorsman too – an avid fisherman, hunter and a long-term member of the NRA. Mike is a committed husband and father. He has always prioritized his family before politics. His wife, two sons and daughter speak his highest praise. Mike has also faced unique adversity, from helping a young wife endure the trials of spinal cancer to aiding the victims of hurricane Katrina as the governor of Arkansas. He has a heart for helping and will fight for the causes of average citizens. He is known for having a compassionate heart, genuinely caring for all people.

Mike is also a respected and fearless leader, and he does not cower to the cries of any majority or minority. He doesn't abandon his values for what's expedient. Like our Founding Fathers, he's not afraid to stand up for a Creator and against secularist beliefs. She says the 12 seat executive jet used by Republican Speaker Dennis Hastert isn't big enough for her. She needs space for giving free rides to friends and supporters as she commutes from DC to California.

America Was Founded on Godly Principles

• As you approach the building that houses the US Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building, a row of the world's law givers. The key law giver in this tableau is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments!

• As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have an engraving on each lower portion of each door that could represent the Ten Commandments.
  

• There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C.
  

• Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a salaried clergyman, whose compensation has been paid by taxpayers since 1777.

• Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies.

  Thomas Jefferson worried that the Courts would overstep their authority and instead of interpreting the law, would begin making law. This would be an oligarchy: the rule of few over many.

  This is exactly what unelected judges are doing right now, with the help of liberal Democrats like Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), Ranking Democratic Member, Senate Judiciary Committee. [No wonder Vice President Dick Cheney lost his temper with Leahy! I pray that God forgives the Vice President; I surely do!]

  The very first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, said:	Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.
  U.S. House of Representatives	How, then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 220 years in this country is now suddenly wrong and unconstitutional?

Whom Should You Vote for in the Next Election?

Prior to 9/11, I might have said "vote for conservative republicans".

Now I am inclined to say, "vote for all those that support anti-terrorism laws and their strict enforcement."

This includes such issues as:

• Tighter control of all INS [immigration and naturalization] issues.
  
  
• Federal control of all air travel, including passenger and luggage screening. Maybe the best way to handle screening would be to set up specific federal guidelines and then have all screeners under the direct supervision of Marine drill sergeants.
  
  
• More effective criminal surveillance and investigation. If Uncle Sam wants to screen all our faces and compare us to stored computer files of known criminals and terrorists, who cares; we are innocent! Only the guilty have anything to worry about.

And all you liberals, we don't want to hear you whining about rights. Our most important rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!

Attention Conservatives: The liberals are all set to take back the House and Senate as soon as possible. Make sure you are registered to vote. Help all the conservatives you know to do likewise.

Hillary may be ready to try to take back the White House in 2008. Be on the alert. Make sure you are registered and ready to vote. Make sure you know how to use your voting device properly. Help fellow conservatives learn to do likewise!
