This week, the US Chamber's Lisa Rickard, Executive Vice President of the US Chamber and President of the US Chamber's Institute for Lawsuit Reform and Workforce Freedom Initiative, answers a question on a topic that is all too often overlooked, but couldn't be more important: lawsuit abuse. One of our grassroots members asked us why legal reform isn't a top issue in Congress. It's a great question. With lawsuit abuse costing our small business community over $100 billion dollars every year, we need our elected officials to do something about it. Watch Lisa's video to learn more about the US Chamber's Institute for Legal Reform representing the nation's job creators with the critical mission of making America's legal system simpler, fairer and faster. Also, visit the Faces of Lawsuit Abuse site to read small business stories about lawsuit abuse and how it jeopardizes their growth and the growth of our economy. | |
