You may remember the post I made last week on the Christians United for Israel [CUFI] conference held in Washington, DC.
Dr. John Hagee, world-wide televangelist and pastor of the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, is National Chairman for Christians United for Israel. Here is Dr. Hagee's report on this year's CUFI conference.
We believe that the Jewish people have a right to live in their ancient land of Israel, and that the modern State of Israel is the fulfillment of this historic right. We maintain that there is no excuse for acts of terrorism against Israel and that Israel has the same right as every other nation to defend her citizens from such violent attacks.
We pledge to stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel and to speak out on their behalf whenever and wherever necessary until the attacks stop and they are finally living in peace and security with their neighbors.

Greetings to all of our Salt Covenant Partners across the nation and around the world.
Let me give you a brief report on the Christians United for Israel 6th Annual Washington, DC Summit. Simply stated; it was historic in every way! We had a record breaking attendance as more than 5000 attendees came from every state in the Union to stand in solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people in their time of crisis.
It was the first time that every printed news media story of our event was both accurate and positive. Ladies and gentlemen, can the Messiah be far off? It was also the first time that there were no protestors either outside on the street with their obscene signs and hysterical voices; neither were they inside at the event itself. UNBELIEVABLE!
Our event had a cadre of speakers that were simply over-the-top. Senators Joe Lieberman and Roy Blunt of Connecticut and Missouri respectively moved every person who heard them.
The crowning moment in the opening session was the video appearance of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. His words were direct and specific! He encouraged every Bible believing person in America to stand up and speak up for the state of Israel "In such a time as this."
At the Night to Honor Israel, our musicians and singers filled the house with the joyous thunder of Hebrew music. It was beyond special.
Ambassador Michael Oren of Israel was the opening speaker followed by yours truly and batting clean-up was Glenn Beck. He knocked it out of the park.
The next day we went to see our Senators and Congressmen to tell them why we stand with Israel and what issues are of concern to WE THE PEOPLE!
I want to encourage each of you to plan NOW to go Washington DC next year to be a part of the Christians United for Israel 7th DC Summit. It will be a moment in American history you will never forget. Trust me!
