In his book, A Chronology of the Bible, Frank R. Klassen says he thinks Jesus was born sometime around Passover, in the spring. The world may have started celebrating Christ's birth in the winter for reasons that have nothing to do with when He was actually born. No matter though. What is really important is the specific time when you accepted Jesus as your personal sin sacrifice. Is there a definite time, and place, when you said, "Jesus, I accept you as my personal sin sacrifice, and my coming King? The date of that event is far more important for you than the calendar date Jesus was born: December 25, April 14, whatever. If this is your first time to accept Jesus as your personal Savior, you will enter into a whole new life and way of living. Have you ever met a president? I haven't. Many times, I have toured the White House with the rest of the tourists, but never got a chance to shake a president's hand. One time, I met Bobby Kennedy and shook his hand. But a president? Never had a chance to even see one at the White House, from a distance. Church and Jesus Christ are a lot like that. You can go to church every Sunday for the rest of your life and never meet Jesus Christ personally. When you accept Jesus Christ personally, you become a brand new person inside. Then, you will be a baby Christian, ready to grow and develop like all babies do. Then, too, you will find Christmas takes on a whole new meaning for you.
