For sale: Crystal Cathedral, Garden Grove, California

July 07, 2011 Trunews reports the Diocese of Orange has announced that it may make a bid to purchase the Crystal Cathedral, the 3,000-seat Protestant church built by televangelist Robert A. Schuller.

A diocesan spokesman told the Orange County Register that the diocese would abandon its plans to construct a new cathedral if the purchase were completed.

Schuller's Garden Grove [CA] megachurch has been in financial difficulty for some time.
