John 16:13:
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.
For the time it takes to study this web page, purge your mind of everything you may have been hearing from the liberal left about President Bush and his supposed lies to the American people about WMD, becoming rich by going to war, the fabricated relationship between him and the Bin Laden family, or his complicity in the 9/11 terrorist attack.
Open your mind and allow the Spirit of truth to guide you into all truth.
| On page 119 of this book, you can read about a 2002 Palm Sunday service aboard Air Force One, as the White House staff flew back from El Salvador. | ![]() President George W. Bush waves from the top of the stairs of Air Force One |
Knowing that President Bush hates to miss church on important occasions, National Security Adviser Dr. Condoleezza Rice, White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card, and then counselor Karen Hughes --all devout Christians-- suggested that they conduct an informal religious service on the trip-ending flight from El Salvador to Washington. Bush agreed enthusiastically.
Soon nearly 40 staffers were in the conference room, ready for the service to begin. Dr. Rice, an accomplished musician, led the worship, Karen Hughes gave the lesson, [which someone described as a wonderful sermonette], and the service ended with everyone singing Amazing Grace. And the whole affair was documented by Kenneth T. Walsh in the US News and World Report. No, this is not an urban legend spawned by e-mail forwarding. Here are the specs; check it out for yourself!

I'm tempted to end this web page right now. Anything else will be rather anticlimactic. But, some folks don't learn as easily as others so I'll continue with some more facts from The Faith of George W. Bush.
On his very first day in office, he called for a day of prayer and cut federal spending on abortion. Page xiv.
He has used faith and faith-based programs to solve some of our social problems. Page xv.
He sees God as the author of a divine plan that supersedes all human plans. Page xv.
Arthur Blessit, the cross-carrying evangelist, and oilman Jim Sale, introduced George W. Bush to Christ in Midland, Texas; 1984. Page 64.
Dr. Billy Graham led him to the next level in 1985. Page 68.
Kenneth Copeland, Keith Butler, David Walker, James Robinson, and others lay hands on him in Dallas and dedicated the Governor to whatever God had in store for him. Page 111.
In the 2000 election, exit polls showed that people who attend church regularly helped Bush beat Gore by 17 points. Page 114.
Columnist Peggy Noonan suggested President Bush's first official act in the White House should be an exorcism. Page 115. Those of us who know something of the contents of Ken Starr's report agree with her wholeheartedly!
The first words one staffer heard in the White House were, Missed you at the Bible study. Page 117.
Before his first cup of coffee, President Bush reads from the Bible, studying and meditating on each word and basing his prayer on God's word. Page 119.
His daily devotional reading is from My Utmost for His Highest, by Oswald Chambers, Page 120.
He agrees with Dr. Rice when she says, "slavery is the birth defect in American history." He spends major time with black ministers such as T. D. Jakes, Tony Evans, and Kirbyjon Caldwell, and is open to their input. Page 150.
"This is what is done for the man the king [President] delights to honor!" Esther 6:11.
Sadly, critics and comics alike have latched on to the President's apparent inarticulate manner of speaking and tendency to misuse words as proof of his lack of mental acuity. Gail Sheehy in an article for Vanity Fair feels that he may be suffering from undiagnosed dyslexia. All thinking people know that some persons with dyslexia may be simultaneously inarticulate and mentally brilliant. Page 43.
I suffer from geographic dyslexia. When I go to the mall, I have to memorize which direction to turn when I leave a store, and where my car is parked. GEL
President Bush seems to possess the type of intelligence that is "social, intuitive, visceral." He "feels his way to truth, learns from people rather than books, and takes what he learns almost permanently into memory." Page 157.
Prime Minister Tony Blair knows President Bush up close and personal. He describes the idea that the president is not too bright as "complete bull". He sees him as "highly intelligent". Page 157.
Wake up, Christians! That's one of us in the White House. Let's leave no stone unturned as we strive to keep him there.
Know this for sure. The forces of evil are working even harder to get President Bush out of the White House.
So, use the modern marvel of e-mail to share the link to this page with everyone you know. This little digital blip in the cosmos just could make the difference between four more years of a Christian in the White House, and the unthinkable alternative!
